About our club
“A global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.”
That’s our motto and our mission. We are simply a small branch of the tree that is Kiwanis. We pride ourselves in helping the Quad City metro area with our time, talents and resources. You can too if you join us!
Who are we?
We are dedicated citizens of the Quad Cities from all walks of life! Some of us are young professionals; some are hard-working businessmen and women. Some of us are even enjoying retirement. But, the one thing that unites us is our strong Kiwanis spirit to give back to the community.
Where are we?
Currently, we meet every Tuesday at 12 Noon at the Tangled Wood Restaurant located at 3636 Tangledwood Road. The first Tuesday of each calendar month is a business meeting. Frequently, we invite speakers to join us to educate and inform us of community events and organizations. If you would like to send us correspondence via U.S. Mail, please send it to: Bettendorf Kiwanis Club, P.O. Box 1314, Bettendorf, IA 52722
What have we done?
Our proud service project accomplishments in this community include: Kids Against Hunger, Cafe on Vine, Bettendorf Parks clean-up, Thanksgiving basket distribution and many more…
We’ve given our financial resources to these QC organizations in the past year: Child Abuse Council, Christian Care Center, Bettendorf Park Board’s Summer Program, H.S. After-Prom Committees, Rick’s House of Hope, School to Work Program and many more…
