In the new calendar year, the membership committee recommended that the club view the last Tuesday of every month as “Bring a guest” day. This will help keep attention and focus on the request to invite guests to our meetings.

Because participants did not have enough time at the Christmas party to have a gift exchange, the club will conduct a white elephant gift exchange at the December 28th lunch meeting. Gifts will have a $10 limit.

The charitable funds budget for the 2010-2011 fiscal year was approved by the membership on November 2nd. Members, please ask Rosa for a copy if you are interested.

A membership meeting has been planned for Tuesday, October 26th. Please submit the name of at least one prospective member to Dan Adams, our membership committee chairperson as soon as possible. We are mailing invitations to these guests. Thank you!
New Officers Installed October 3, 2010

At the September 28th lunch meeting, the new officers were installed for the fiscal year that starts October 1. Newly inducted are Jim Tiedje as President, Maria Levetzow as President-Elect, Rosa Brunsma as Treasurer and Bev Ricketts as Secretary.
Thanks to the outgoing board members and of course to our retiring President, J.R. Stradt! What a successful year it was!
