The January service project is today – Saturday, Jan. 29th. Thanks to all of the volunteers who assisted in the drywall and insulation project at the Habitat for Humanity house. If you would like to help out, visit their ReStore today!

Bring a guest focus day January 8, 2011

In the new calendar year, the membership committee recommended that the club view the last Tuesday of every month as “Bring a guest” day. This will help keep attention and focus on the request to invite guests to our meetings.
January’s service project January 8, 2011

We will be assisting at a Habitat for Humanity home. The work will all be indoors. There will be 2 shifts, 8:00-12:00 and 12:00-4:00. Spouses are welcome to help too. Children must be 16 years or older. If you want to help out but can’t work, you could provide lunch. Update: The two shifts have been filled! Great participation! The club is still discussing lunch options/helpers.

Our dining tour book fundraiser is wrapping up this month as we are very close to selling 240 books. This entitles our club to the $2 per book bonus! Thanks to all members who assisted with this fundraiser, especially Steve G.
