The Bettendorf Kiwanis Club will be proud to volunteer their time to assist the Quad City Pickleball Club during their Pickleball tournament on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 at Kiwanis Park. Come see the new pickleball courts dedicated to this new sport at 4223 Greenbriar Ave. in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Times:
9 a.m. – Check-in and warm-up begins
10 a.m. – Morning play begins
12 Noon – Break for potluck lunch
1 p.m. – Afternoon play begins
Come out and watch the fast paced games! Bring your own lawn chairs and umbrellas!

The St. Ambrose Circle K Club hosted the district-wide Bowl-A-Thon on Sunday, February 19, 2012. The bowlers met at 30 Lanes on N. Harrison St. in Davenport at 1 p.m. This is a fundraiser for the Spastics Paralysis Research Foundation.

At a recent meeting, Clinton, Iowa Kiwanians reminded and encouraged our members to participate in the Clinton Kiwanis Golf Outing. The outing will be held on August 19th and will cost $65. Proceeds will go toward Iodine deficiency,
MNT, and spastic paralysis. If you wish to golf with them, contact an officer at http://kiwanisclubofclinton.org or their Facebook page.

The Silvis East Moline Kiwanis club is hosting a Division 17 Kasino Golf Scramble on Friday, May 20th with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The event will take place at Valley View Golf Club in Cambridge, Illinois. All proceeds from the event will benefit Spastic Paralysis Research Foundation.

The St. Ambrose Circle K Club is going to host this year’s Divisional Bowl-a-Thon for the Spastics Paralysis Foundation. It will be held on Sunday, February 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Bowlmor on Brady Street in Davenport. At this time, we are looking for members who would like to bowl.

J.R. has finalized plans for the Kiwanis Christmas party gathering at The Grape Life. Please join us for appetizers and samples of four different wines for $10 per person. This event is currently scheduled for Thursday, December 9th from 5:45 to 8 p.m.
